  • Lake Alexandrina: Contrast the fresh spring-fed waters of Lake Alexandrina with the glacial-fed Lake Tekapo.
  • Ancient Glacial Deposits: Observe massive “erratics” left behind as the ice melted during the last ice age.

Flight Experience

  • Exclusive Tours: Each flight is personal and exclusive, accommodating up to 5 or 6 passengers, subject to weight restrictions.
  • Duration: The tour lasts approximately 30 minutes.
  • Passenger Requirements: Flights require a minimum of 4 passengers. Groups may be combined to meet this requirement. The helicopter can carry a maximum of 5 or 6 passengers, with a weight restriction of 120kg per person. The pilot will determine suitability based on weight limits and offer alternatives if necessary.
  • Safety Guidelines: Loose items are not permitted on board the helicopter.

Important Notes

  • Child Policy: Children are between the ages of 3 and 13 years old inclusive. Infants, between the ages of 0 and 2 years old, travel free on an adult’s lap.
  • Booking Flexibility: Larger group bookings are welcome and will be flown as individual flights.
