  • Pre-Jump Briefing: Your adventure starts with a detailed briefing in our adventure cabin, including an introductory video and camera options for capturing your jump.
  • Meet Your Instructor: You’ll be paired with an experienced skydiving instructor who will ensure a safe and exhilarating experience.
  • Customizable Messages: Use our provided pens in the departure lounge to write messages on your hands to reveal to the camera during your jump.
  • Scenic Flight: Enjoy a 10-15 minute flight in our Cessna Caravan, taking in breathtaking views of Wanaka’s lakes, mountains, the Upper Clutha River, and Mount Cook.
  • The Jump: Experience the thrill of freefalling at 200kph, securely harnessed to your instructor, followed by the peaceful descent under the parachute.
  • Capture the Moment: Professional footage of your skydive is available for purchase, ensuring you have a lasting memory of your adventure.
  • Smooth Landing: Land safely at the Skydive Wanaka dropzone, completing your skydiving journey.

Important Information

  • Check-in Time: Please check in 10 minutes before your scheduled trip time.
  • Duration: Allow approximately 3 hours for the entire experience.
  • Weight Limits: Maximum weight is 115kg (253lbs). Individuals over 95kg are subject to assessment by the Tandem Master.
  • Children:
    • Minimum age: 6 years
    • Minimum weight: 30kg (66lbs)
    • Minimum height: 1.2m (47.2 inches)
    • Children 12 years and under can skydive from a maximum height of 9,000ft and are subject to an assessment on the day.
    • Passengers under 18 years require written parental/guardian consent.
  • Age Limit: No maximum age limit; we’ve had passengers up to 94 years old.
  • Photo and Video Packages: Available for purchase on the day of your skydive.
